This module has been designed to allow the electronic importation of paper Bills of Quantities. The module is in two parts with the front end utilising the ABBYY Fine Reader scanning and OCR system which has been fully integrated with the CMS Contractor BOQ importation software. This allows the imported document to be edited before electronically updating the takeoff screen.

Once the takeoff screen has been updated the user prices the bill as normal with the only difference being the Item No., Description, Quantity and Unit sections of the bill are not updated – simply the Rate which multiplied by the Quantity gives the Charge Out Rate (prior to Markup).

All the other estimating functions work as normal e.g. subcontractor and supplier enquiries etc.

Supports the importing of image files such as Tiff's and PDF's as well as Excel worksheets. Fully CITE compliant with the ability to import files directly from any CITE compliant Bill Production package.
